Since, I’ve done some proofreading
That’s maybe the first time the fight for Baku to be used in a computer wargame….
İndeed it is . And new event with pic looks very good.
Early war supply and money can be very important to reds. But will losing Baku,Grozni depot that important,or the city? maybe Baku city should produce much WS, (actually I didn’t remember exact values they produce.)
Yes, but the possibility of a White putsch at Baku will threaten even if this option is played… The Red player has only a limited grip on the local situation ( we aren’t in a Paradox game where spending 50 greats 100 in the future). So, short-term measure or bet on the long-term? Moreover, the Red forces at Baku are crap. You will have to renforce them to hold the city. But Baku could be menaced by Southern White too…
Baku possession will grant EP too. And in the long run, some WSU and money ( after november 18, if Baku is under Red control)…
Looks good. This will create more fighting and strategy in the early game for Southern whites and reds.
And a bit more historical. The official game ignores Caucasus, and in the first turns of the game the Northern Caucasus is easily falling in the Whites hands. Bisherakov group will not be starting the GC in Fatal Years but will appear eventually in 2 times, reflecting the slow pace of the Terek Cossacks revolt. Adding to this, the fight for Baku will really show why the aera was of some importance, as the land way of passage. Astrakhan role as harbour will be strenghtened too,as naval rear base of the Reds ( I’m going to add some vessels too).
That was needed . Honestly Don front in the beginning of GP was limted and a bit boring until Ukraine open for war. Great.
