You have to know first the AI events don’t work in the very first turn of FY. They have effects from the second turn.

Among several parameters, AI is evaluating situation theater by theater. Here’s the log about how RED AI evaluates importance of each theater during the first turn (higher values are better):

20:15:41  (Reporting)  Theater Prevalences Northern Ordered Value: 2100
20:15:41  (Reporting)  Theater Prevalences Southern Ordered Value: 1700
20:15:41  (Reporting)  Theater Prevalences Ural Ordered Value: 1600
20:15:41  (Reporting)  Theater Prevalences Volga Ordered Value: 1100
20:15:41  (Reporting)  Theater Prevalences Eastern Ordered Value: 1000
20:15:41  (Reporting)  Theater Prevalences Central Asia Ordered Value: 900
20:15:41  (Reporting)  Theater Prevalences Siberia Ordered Value: 900
20:15:41  (Reporting)  Theater Prevalences Central Russia Ordered Value: 740
20:15:41  (Reporting)  Theater Prevalences Asia Ordered Value: 100
20:15:41  (Reporting)  Theater Prevalences Map Seas Ordered Value: 100
20:15:41  (Reporting)  Theater Prevalences Finland Ordered Value: 100

You will notice the most important theater for the AI is the Northern one, ie Petrograd… Yes, Petrograd. Not Kuban, Volga and Ural. Petrograd.

One of my primary task has been to give to the right theaters the importance they deserve…

RUS patch 1.03a and Fatal Years

Posted: August 13, 2011 in Rus Mod

This new official patch has been released today.

From the quick tests I’ve done, the patch 1.03a works with Fatal Years, to the exception of new portraits.

In any case, if you want to use the patch, you have to:

1) Apply the official 1.03a patch to the folder containing your Fatal Years version

2) Install again Fatal Years mod, as the official patch will remove some files of FY.

Currently doing a playtest with Siberian, alternate path… After the capture of Simbirsk, I was preparing to assault Kazan…Red Ai has just put Chapaiev division in Kazan and counterattacked at Penza, mauling my Czech division here
