Two months ago, I wrote PON wouldn’t be ready before October, so much bugs and discrepancies to fix in the data being almost an impossible task.
Today, only the period covering 1850 to 1870 is reasonably playable. beyond, it’s yet unknown, but I don’t bet the bugs in the events before 1870 have magically spared the 1870-1920 period; So October remains a valid date.
But there are now new interrogations:

Considering the very mitigated reactions to this DLC, I fear it will be the last DLC, and then PON development could be shelved in the next weeks.
I should add the hurried ad about a patch for the DLC a few after its release says much about the testing before release of the DLC and the dire need for AGEOD to sell this DLC…
PON has many qualities, groundbreaking features. But it’s too the perfect illustration of the failure of a grandiose project by lack of focuses on essential design points in computer wargaming: design, AI, gameplay which ruin the game experience for most, even the best intentioned….
